An exhibition of the 2nd year of Basic Education Degree
“Where is Eurocentrism in school textbooks?” This is the motto of an exhibition that offers a critical reflection on the narratives present in primary and secondary school history textbooks. We seek to promote an attentive and questioning look at educational content and how it can reproduce or combat inequalities, silencing and racism in contemporary Portugal.
This is an initiative of the 2nd year classes of the Degree in Basic Education at the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, to which we invite the entire academic community and the general public.
Join us at the opening event on November 27 at 1:30 p.m., or visit us afterwards. The exhibition will be on display until December 13, 2024.
