    Maritime and Port Logistics concerns the efficient and integrated management of the transport, distribution and storage of goods by sea. This is a field that involves the coordination of multiple stakeholders, including shipowners, port agents, customs authorities, carriers and other parties, to ensure the efficient and safe transport of cargo. The Postgraduate Course in Maritime and Port Logistics offers an opportunity to play an active role in the development of the global economy. This advanced programme is delivered by the School of Business Sciences as part of the NEXUS Academy of the Sines NEXUS Project.
    The NEXUS Project will create an ecosystem of 28 products and services for the Green and Digital Transition in the transport and multimodal sectors, focusing on innovating, developing, demonstrating and launching the commercialisation and exploitation of products and services with strong export potential, which address the main challenges and gaps identified in logistics in Portugal. This course is aimed at graduates in Logistics and related fields with relevant professional experience in maritime and port logistics, or professionals working in import and export companies who wish to The postgraduate programme seeks to develop valuable skills for roles in the field of Maritime and Port Logistics, namely: The ability to use active learning methodologies; Development of multidisciplinary and community-engaged projects that promote problem-solving and teamwork; Implementation of research activities and/or involvement in research projects.
