Teaching Methods
Classes are designed in accordance with the ESE/IPS pedagogical model. Sessions will include presentations and discussions on program topics, as well as practical experiments-both individual and group-based-aimed at integrating knowledge and consolidating learning. Classroom work will include: (i) reading, analyzing, and exploring educational regulations and guidelines (through collaborative work and discussion forums) in virtual environments, using online platforms (e.g., Moodle, Padlet); (ii) analyzing, selecting, developing, presenting, and discussing lesson plans (previously developed in the previous academic year); (iii) reflection on the proposals presented, analysis, and development of alternatives. Tutorial hours will be used for the scientific and pedagogical monitoring of students individually or in small groups.

-
Content Explanation
The topics to be developed in this curricular unit aim to provide students with the fundamental concepts related to the didactics of artistic and physical education in primary school, as well as the tools to enable them to put into practice actions related to the organization and promotion of artistic and motor learning. In order to facilitate the consolidation of learning, the curriculum is based on two fundamental axes: the theoretical component and the practical application.
-
Methodology Explanation
Participation in oral presentations, debates, practical experiments, research, reading and production allow for the development and consolidation of skills in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of the teaching and learning process in the contexts in which future pedagogical interventions will take place. The use of methodologies for the practical application of content and for analysis and reflection also allows the consolidation of the variables of pedagogical intervention. The possibility of working in groups provides an opportunity to enrich learning through collaborative work, which encourages critical analysis and promotes more meaningful learning.
